Wrinklies is an online community and learning resource open to anyone who feels comfortable with our style - our main objective is help you to use computers and the Internet more effectively.

It’s easy for the younger generation to poke fun at the technical ability of older people, but if you can't beat them - join them! After all, the Internet has provided an excellent way to communicate with our children and grandchildren, who rarely write letters. Also, by getting to grips with the technology, we are also able to open up a whole new learning experience that was not available to us in our earlier years.

Wrinklies.co.uk has been created by people who understand the learning and support needs for people in various age groups and levels of skill. As the name suggests we can still have a laugh at our own expense, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t take training seriously, it's just that often we need to learn at a different level and pace. This website aims to provide that service.

You will be able to access most of the website as a casual visitor, but you must register and sign-in to post messages on the forum and receive our newsletters which include access to valuable training tutorials and tips.

There's a new wave of phone calls claiming that reports have been received that your Windows software is infected. Don't get caught out. Hang up - add a suitable "sod off" message if you prefer. See the links in the Security Forum for more details.
